Bollenveld
Erik van der Weijde photographs Bollenveld, an experimental housing project by Dutch architect Dries Kreijkamp in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Built in 1984, the site features 50 spherical “bolwoningen” made from prefabricated fiberglass-reinforced concrete. Measuring 5.5 meters across with 55 square meters of living space, they represent the last houses realized under the Dutch subsidy for experimental building, established in 1968.
